Terrible Customer Service

I waited a while to write this hoping that Cobra USA would make good on pipes that were clearly not prepped properly. While they are cheaper than most pipes, they brag on their quality. This is not true. My pipes are turning color on a stock bike. They are starting to look terrible. Their solution after a very slow (even them seemingly forgetting about me) exchange is that I must pay shipping back and forth and have them re-done. This is expensive and it shows they aren't willing to stand up to their product and have lost my support. I would rather buy from a manufacture that stands by their product for a long time. I've had this set less than a year.

Questions about cobra fi2000

2003 harley davidson electra glide standard with true dual exhaust and arlen ness air filter isn't running right. It high revs at idle and surges and sputters at take off and cruise.

Somebody change my password

My girlfriend got mad at me and changed my password. Now I cant get on my cameras. now shes gone. I dont know where to find her and I really need to get back on my cameras to check recordings to see what she took for me.

Speed Products GmbH Message: I Recently purchased these pipes, Cobra Slash Cut, followed every direction.used my stock bracket and the bracket for the pipes ,mounted them up nice,secured everything and took a ride ,they sound great ,when I parked it and checked the next morning the top pipe was all discolored, come to find out the factory holes on the bracket for the pipes is off by about a half inch to an inch ,and it wasnt as snug as it should have been..no fault of my own just going by the directions given..needless to say I had to redrill another hole to push the pipe further into the mid pipe and now its fine..but the Damage has been done and cannot remove the Discoloration. SAD.,For such nice pipes..is there any way for you to Rectify this ,love the pipes but not the end results, we love our bikes and want them to shine, not have them discolored. Please respond ,this was not my fault and considering I spent good money I feel there should be something done.thanks again .Marc Keller///Well I tried Talking to a guy (Brad) From Cobra...Wow Very dissatisfied ,talk about a self absorbed , high on your horse kinda person..it couldnt possibly be their fault or even try to Rectify the problem, so whatever..Ill have to live with it I guess unless I get a response from the message you forwarded..just Sad that a company like that has such self righteous employees working for them ,but they are from California so I should have expected it..lol..but lets hope something positive comes from this experience.

Can not connéct to the Cobra Profile Black on my bike. Asked for a pin which I don't know what it is. Do u know the pun? Very dissatisfied with this. As it cost so much but can't use the programmer at all without this special pin .

Loud pipes and backfiring initially.

I spoke to a tech representative and got some insight on my backfiring,but no resolution on my pipes, since I already have the quiet baffles,but the rep was as helpful as he could be.

Tried and tried calling their number but always was on hold waiting for someone. Got fed up every time because I never got anyone. Also they did not include any AC adaptor for HH50WXST handheld cb. Had to buy my own.

Since there were no instructions included in the packaging, I was going in blind trying to install My new slip-ons. I am happy to report they are now installed properly, and growling appropriately! The company has a number on there website to contact for warranty issues being that the cobra true duals headers have a lifetime warranty. I contacted them on June 22, 2019 about an issue. The issue is the cap on the end of the header pipe that butts up against the head, the weld broke and therefore the pipe itself is loose when the clamp and header nuts are tight! It is leaking from the header on cylinder 1 because of this issue. As a result of the pipe being loose it has cracked the heat shield. It was about 2 weeks before i contacted the representative from cobra via phone instead of email considering the request for proof of purchase and photos of damaged or manufactured defective part. Upon calling them the man tells me he will get back with me. Never heard back so i called to get an update 15 minutes before business hours were over in California time which im in texas so is a 2 hour difference. I was told i had to send defective part back and then as soon as they received it they would send me a new one. I sent next day and followed up and stated that you guys have proof of purchase, pics, and i have tracking number to provide so can we not get a new one on the way considering the lack of response via email was because the representative continuously requested the same information and was not reading my email with screenshots of successful sent info from the beginning and caused the 2 week delay to begin with. Well i was informed no not possible so i was like fine. Part was suppose to be recieved on the 14 but shipping company messed up and they got it on the 21st. No problem not cobra’s fault. I follow up tuesday letting them know its delivered and was told the same gentlemen will follow up to get this resolved. No follow up tuesday or wednesday while i called wednesday twice he was “on lunch” and “in a meeting” both times. So proceeding thursday i called and spoke with the gentlemen and he proceeds to tell me they must of not received the package which on tuesday told me he had my warranty paperwork in hand and was taking down to warranty dept tuesday. So why would u hand deliver paperwork for something you dont have?? He then gets tracking number realizes im right and says ill have to check package and follow up. Calls back about an hour later and says yes we have it ive taken it down to warranty dept again. All of this update was left in VM. So i call back and he is like “yes its in warranty follow up with me in a week if u like and i can give u an update”. I was like a week? You guys have had it for a week being that its thursday to inspect a pipe thats verified in pics already sent so its not like u have to hook up to a program to check software its a broken weld from a poor weld and a crack in heat shield. Considering the statement of “send it in and as soon as we get it in we will send out a new one”. So im beyond frustrated and follow up friday anyways. Had no update being that its “still in warranty and they are working on it”. I once again considering the situation that is specifically on you for it now being over a month since contacted can we not get something done! At this point im beyond pissed with the poor customer service. I work in customer service myself and am not pleased. This is total BS and no customer should wait this long. Mind u we pay top dollar for product we expect to last longer than a year. Not to get pushed around and pushed off for a month on getting a pipe replaced. Ive given everything requested and spent $48 on shipping might i add to ship to California. I would hate for someone else to have to experience this from a company that doesn't put forth effort to stick by a warranty process within a reasonable time. This kind of customer service in my opinion is not conducive of satisfied customers. Someone should seriously look into this. Its obvious im not the only one as there are other like reviews. Its not the 28th and will follow up in a week per the representative and then wait another week for it to show up to my address “if the company decides to replace it”. Almost 2 months for a replacement pipe is ridiculous. I could have welded it and kept the cracked heat shield and been able to ride my bike for this but figured i would use what i paid for when i bought a new exhaust system but obviously not.
